Nope... the injectors won't get enough juice to run. Basically you're dropping voltage and then dropping voltage again.

kool... thanks for the post... ummm what would you recomend i do ... i need some smaller injectors... (550's or so...) like i said, i have precision 1000's but those ******* are hard to tune... (uberdata) so im only going to be running small boost ... like 8-9 lbs (non sleeved h22) so i want to get some smaller injectors so i can tune my car myself...

why dont you just get some peak and hol 550cc they make them no problems and you dont have to worry about changing your wiring.

haha oh yeah.... well i just figured it would be easyer to get some old dsm's and not have to spend a **** load on newer ones... how much would a man have to spend to get some PH 550's?

old dsms are 450cc peak & hold, you'd be all set with those

1000cc's aren't that hard to tune. Just play around with them some. You'll get them to idle right. I've done it before in uber. You may need to idle them richer than 14.7:1

well i ended up trying to tune them ... and i even got them to idel and stuff... but i couldnt tune the rest of the vaccum stuff.. let alone even getting to the boost portion of tunning... i would make adjustments and **** would go all to hell... when you tuned did you use an sort of datalogging?

well if you really dont feel like dealing with the 1000cc just do what some others said. old dsms are peak and hold and you could also just get new Precision or RC peak and hold if you wanna spend the money. that way you dont have to change the wiring.

also check the classifieds you might even be able to find some on here to do a trade
