Default someone please help me!!!

im gonna light this thing on fire!!! what would make a car run perect, pulls smooth and hard, then 5 minutes later run like **** and barely move, sputter, idle rough, pop and back fire and then run like that the rest of the night? im so tired of this damn motor.

it ran like ****, then i found the map sensor was leaking, fixed it, ran perfect for a few pulls, shut her down, and its ran like **** ever since. map sensor is still good. steady fuel pressure and its still leaning out. i dont know tuning **** but the boost map is supposed to make it run crazy rich... its definatley not tho. its retarded 1 degree per pound of boost. cam gear is at zero. it'll get worse and worse the more i drive it. no codes. i cant find any more vaccum leaks but im gonna search like crazy tomorrow.

its a mini-me, 14b turbo, msd blaster coil, open down pipe, 440 injectors, adjustable fpr, pr3 ecu with boost map.

i just thought of this while i was reading this. the 440's r obd1 and im running a resistor box still, is that a problem? what would make it keep running worse and worse?

someone help before i ditch this whole car

bent valves could cause that? didnt think of that. that means i have to pull the head off huh.or just do a leak down test? and i cant tune it until it runs better, its just got a base map right now

What minime, and what ecu is a pr3? What program are you using? I def don't know everything by a long shot, but i've never heard of map sensors making your car run rich. I think you need some tuning, base maps are for driving easy on, so you can go get it tuned. However, setup properly they will work fine also. I used to have issues with over-heating, and wouldn't be able to get into boost, unless i revved it up and poped the clutch, once in boost it was fine. I don't know.

I don't know what BRE is, but if its like crome uber so on, make sure you fuel maps are good, specialy in the areas you are leaning out. Also, maybe swap out distributors with someone else. I've heard of heat getting to those.

Just to clarify, is it always running bad now, or just after it starts to heat up?

Do you have a temp guage in, when mine was doing it, it never would have registered on the stock temp guage, just noticed it cuz i had an autometer installed.
