I may be able to get a handful of them for around $200. Email me at vwnuts@yahoo.com

Apparantly Techedge is coming in with a unit that will use the Bosch unit. It was just posted on another thread in the FI forum about techedge...

I've been reading this thread with great interest. As an owner of an FJO W/B who's been hearing rumors about NTK's cutting off our air supply I'm saddened to see it confirmed here. The story I've read here though is almost exactly what I'd heard word for word months ago from another source though and the current shortage certainly seems to back this up. Upset is an understatement!

Anyway it looks like the trade show is going to be VERY interesting this year though. Obviously there's a HUGE market for W/B and folks have taken notice. A shame that HKS seems ot have gotten nailed by this sensor thing having just released a W/B controller using the now crazy priced NTK sensor.

Moose I'd love to hear anything you're willing to tell us about the various W/B. In particular the FJO since I own one Once they build a display though I'll certainly be owning one of these with the affordable sensor -> http://www.aempower.com/bbs/viewtopic.php?t=3307 and will certainly have one for a V8 project I've got which will also run the AEM (my Supra does already).

VERY informative thread, glad to see there are enthusiasts out there working these issues. Thank you!

A little off topic.

Glad to see you here on honda-tech BLKMGK! You've brought a great amount of knowledge to the EMS forum and I hope you continue that here--even though its a honda/acura site and you drive the epifany of a turbo or badged car.

Wow, good stuff. Glad I just got my Bosch sensor. After reading about the life expectancy of the sensors I have decided to just use mine when tuning the car. I had planned on keeping the wideband sensor in the downpipe with it hooked up to the display unit (the one that comes w/ Techedge kit) all the time. And using the stock o2 for the closed loop operation. Again, great info!
