Lol...as I am pulling my strawberry milkshake out from my dual cupholder. Looks even funnier when I am trying to shift, blowoff and drink it at the same time. Those leather seats though....unless Jeff has AC...gonna get hot.

Thanks for all the compliments guys.

The cams are stock gsr cams, I am still waiting on the ef-1.com m21 turbo cam to be released to try them out. The turbocharger is a full race utilizing the sc63 wheel, which I believe is the gt45 wheel. The exhaust side is a stage 5 blade with a .63a/r housing.

2.2L civic I remember you from a few years back. You gave me a ride in your turbo itr, it gave me the inspiration to get into this game. This isnt the same hatchback you saw, I sold that one and bought another the same color. The body and overall quality of this hatch is 10x nicer than the other.

My problem with the GE sleeves is that the bottom of the sleeve wasnt sealed up 100%, causing all the coolant to seap into the oil pan and a nice big mess it made. I sent the block out to GE 7 weeks ago, they promised a 2-3 day turn around time. I sent the block out to GE to get the warranty work done, it was lost in their own shop for two weeks. At first I thought that UPS lost the block, I got a signature on deliver so that I could verify that they actually received the block. I called them up, they finally would admit that they "misplaced the block". I was promised the block to be done in "only a few days". Its been three weeks now, going on four weeks that the block has been sitting in bore and hone. I call up and neither Ted nor Vince will speak with my father or I on the phone, I get the secretary Robert to tell me the block is in bore and hone. I am fed up with their service with being promised something back in a certain amount of time. I am reasonable to deal with, I understand set backs and time constraints with business. This situation has gone on long enough, I wont be giving GE anymore business with my personal blocks or customers blocks. This was my third GE block, it doesnt seem right to treat customers the way they have treated my block and my situation. Dart will be getting my business from here on out.

that sucks about the sleeves. my car was actually finally up and running a few weeks ago! then a tranny bearing went. after that, some problemes with dissapearing coolant. it is a very odd set of symptoms...i sure hope it isn't a problem with my GE sleeves

GE apparently has issues with their older blocks that have coolant leaking problems. The problem that you are having is exactly what I have heard from quite a few GE owners, try bars stop leak in your coolant system it will take care of the problem if its the sleeves. The stock sleeves will hold up to well past 500whp, but I dont have another GSR block at the moment to assemble. To save me headaches I am just going to purchase a Dart 1.8L block, I have all the extra stuff to complete the block.

the hatch looks really, really good. BTW thanks for the props Im glad everything has worked out well for you.

BTW it is a 67mm wheel, so it is basically a t3 version of a t67, so a t3/t67

good deal. i thought your hatch looked fimiliar. im glad you got into the game. the itr wasnt mine, it was a friend of mine.

that sucks about GE. at least you didnt have to wait almost 10 months now to get your block sleeved. (i did) and there always seems to be a problem whenever i call GE. i think for my next blocks im going RS. a little more expensive but the customer service and sleeves "mysteriously" sinking cant be as bad as GE. i have done 5 blocks with golden eagle and the last 3 "mysteriously" kept blowing headgaskets as soon as it was boosted on. the latest 2 have o rings so we will se if that solves the "mysterious" problem.

good luck with your engine/car. i hope the block holds up

we've been using the bar's leaks stuff from the get-go. broke in the motor for about 700 miles. only onverheated a little during long hwy rides. heard a strange sound from the tranny. one of the bearings went. had that fixed, and the guys took it out to do some more street tuning. car starts overheating. come back, radiator hose is sucked in. compression test looks a little low in two cylinders. car cools off. another comp test reveals that now only one cylinder is low. pressurized coolant system...can't see/hear any leaking. dropped oil...no coolant in oil, no metal shavings, bottom end looks perfect. leakdown test: 1% loss in each cylinder...perfect. it's hard to tell if there is any oil in the coolant because of the damn murky bar's leaks. most recent comp. test showed an even 235 across the board. things that make you go hmmmmmm....any ideas?
