Boost is back...almost :-P
Its saturday, I blew my tranny and the car was down last night, so I decided to put all the turbo **** back on while doing the tranny swap(I HATE THEM)(I also got my turbo, thanx George). Heres the pics:
To raise the car(buy new suspension, I will this winter once the engine goes in the trunk), or to make a skid plate....
Skid plate! Maybe next month when I have some more free time...

.63/.70 t3/60-1. The radiator will do just fine with no hood I have plans, just need $ to complete them.
No motor work yet, but Im trying to save up for sleeving my h23...Im gonna build it into a 2.4L, and of course it WILL go in the back this winter.
Mid engine, RWD, 2.4 Vtec pushing 25-30 psi. What more can you ask for? Ive decided to get my gf, Jen Hondata, and in return, I get her SpeedPro to control everything. She hates the lopy idle, and all the fuss. Id say its a good trade
Oh ya, itll be ****** cool to actually USE wheelie bars as they are intended...hehehe(giggling like a little school girl )

Re: (MiraiZ)
There we Go! Mine probably wont be as clean, but when I open the trunk, the H22 will be poking its lil head out Got a site or something that I can research how they did that? I REALLY wonder what they did with the tranny, whether they used a 5 spd FWD CRV tranny, or just make a coversion box for the existing linkages...
Ive been running the Sol the last few days on errands, etc, and this is my new fastest car. Jens Sol(my GF) is fast, but theres TOO much power. Just breaks the wheels lose, and then thats when I "would" go flying by her. I say "would", because we are still waiting for her turbo from Majestic(wheel to housing contact is not good on a turbo that JUST came out of the box). I understand people make mistakes(I make them all the time! ) so we arent mad, just purturbed because she goes to school today, and we havent had a chance to cruise in our "his and hers" Del Sols. Be on the lookout for a future post fearturing both cars

it does...its really a drag queen...I heard that its horrible for doing anything but going in a straight line...how are you going to counter weight the engine?
looks as is if they reenforced the trunk with steel too

Re: Boost is back...almost :-P (jz)
Mr2 insurance is through the roof around here. Im $960 a year with the del sol. Plus, salvaged title, who cares how cutup it gets(w/in reason).
Well, the H22 mounts pretty far forward. I plan on getting some beefy springs in the rear, and Ill probably end up getting cut stock springs for the front, because thatll be the approximate weight setting. Plus, the gas tank will be in the front, thats a good 80 lbs when wet, so thatll help. Dont forget the full cage thatll extend past the firewall. Im basically cutting everything in front of the stock firewall off, and redoing in piping(k frame and suspension will remain stock) because its all crunched from the 60mph Tbone that my gf did a good job with. So basically Itll be a stock sheetmetal, full tubular chassis/aluminum-sheeted floored Del Sol.
The engine will actually sit RIGHT behind the driver/passenger seats, so the weight will be effectively in the middle of the car.
The IC will be WAIC, so no piping to run all over the place.

That IC is a great idea. One of the great things about a mid engine car is you usually have room to have a huge square air/water IC and then run lines to an equally huge heat exchanger in the front. Combine that with a big resevoir and you could probably keep IAT's consistently near ambient while boosting hard on the street.
All I have to say is good luck!

Re: Boost is back...almost :-P (SweetChin)
ah...the little things. I think the engines going to be poking pretty far into the car, it wont sit like that R does in the Top Fuel Sol. The firewall will be dzus'd in, so itll pop ou tin a matter of minutes to do these minor things
