LOL. Now how do you guys know a stock LS with a cone filter on a pipe can't make 197 hp!

I guess he flew one of those Spoon guys out from Japan for the tuning

yeah, I emailed that guy and called him an *******, etc. I've been frustrated trying to buy a car lately and I'm tired of being mislead. I don't want it to happen to others either. I also wrote a nasty email to a place that was selling a 90-93 ls integra and talked about the vtec in the description. jerk-offs.

You CANNOT build that motor for less than 10K, you must be a moron to even think that.

Dart Block - $2000
CP Pistons - $700
Pauter Rods - $700
Eagle Crank - $700
Dry Sump Oiling System - $1200+
Head and Porting - $1500+
Ferrea Roller Rockers, and complete Valvetrain - $2500+
Turbo Kit - $5000+
All the fittings on there alone must be almost $1000

That's $15,300 right there alone. And I'm being consevative with those numbers. Not to mention injectors, fuel rail, intake manifold, throttlebody, oil pan, bearings, waterpump, seals, engine assembly and machine shop work and tons of other misc parts..

Duh, i can do it for 10k or less ...you could probably make an LS motor with a cone filter and 198whp, tuned by spoon maybe.

Now could you make more power, with less exotic and more affordable parts..sure could.

I know that the reserve is not met yet, I was just replying to the guy that said it wasn't worth it and that you could build the motor for less then $10,000 which you clearly cannot.
