Another thing, what distributor are you using? the efi system you are running runs the distributor off the block. the 16v's distributor runs off the head. so if you run it off the block, how are you driving your oil? as the 9a oil pump, intermediate shaft setup and the abas are not interchangeable.

lastly- the motor is an 82.5 mm bore</TD></TR></TABLE>

as ghetto as it is ive seen people leave the aba distributor in the block and have the 16v one. also with the 16v head you get 8.5 : 1 compression. but no FMU is gonna support that much boost.

i am also on vortex and i had a 380hp turbo vr6 gti. VW's are 3 times harder to get to run boost on than a honda. these guys have it so easy.

only thing i like about VW over honda is the fact that the blocks are stupid strong, i never heard of sleeving a VW, and torquey, buti prefer the top end in my MK4 2.0T with t3t4, its kinda like my own vtec LOL
