SOHC worth it??
usaully people dont go higher than 10psi on stock D series motors because @10psi you are starting to push the 200-225whp mark and the "spinly"rods will not handle much more than that before they break..

As far as breaking stuff, the axels and differentials on d-series motors are very weak, just be careful at the track when you are launching on slicks, you WILL break something!
Stock rods just look funny compared to the LS rods. I'm going to be running LS rods, my stock 9.6:1 CR, and 10-12psi of boost on my motor.
