Default Sohc with HMT track times

60' = 2.313 ( very good huh.. )
1/8 9.506
mph 75.82
1/4 14.663
mph 94.47

Own'd by the clutch !!

This run was made it COMPLETE DRIVING FORM ( tipped to the top tank of gas, 93oct., completly stock exhuast with punched cat, tools "in case ****", 5 extra quarts of oil, and all the misc. stuff my girl and I took to the track ).
I was running 10psi with the stock clutch ( which was slipping so bad in 4th that I was literlly tapping the gas almost all the way though 4th gear !! ) stock CRX Si rims, with BFG comp. TAs ( non DR ). Car was of course in "full interoir" foam.

I was pretty happy... That was the best outta.... one run... Yeah, one run... kinda..
#1 run = IC pipe came off in 3rd gear
#2 run = above times
#3 run = clutch slipping so bad it ran a 17.5 and I was in 5th by the time I went though the traps !!! I desided it was time to sit in the stands...

Sucks, but I'm happy..
Compelete turbo system with engine and everything = $1100
Car = $1200
Interoir $300

Not bad..

A new cobra disappointed me.. It has nitto DRs, ice in the intercooler and on the S/C, pass. head light removed so it rams air on the aftermarket huge K&N... Best all day was 12.80 !!!! I thought it would do a lot better...

75* track temp.

Completly stock looking car, minus the IC sticking out the bumper, hehe.

hey for the block did u have to put a oil control jet in there to get it to work with the non vtec head? not bad for a slipping clutch...

A friend of mine just finished a similar set up
90 hatch=500$
d16 motor=300$
dx exaust maifold=25
t3 turbo=50
oil lines=25
pvc pipe from turbo strait to the TB=15 (thanks home depot)
5 check valves=15
12/1 vortec fmu=100
bmw inline fuel pump=25

we just finished it about a week ago. I wish i had a pic cause you laugh your *** off when u saw the pvc piping. On 13lbs it feels like a 12 second car no traction till 3rd gear. In one week weve blown three head gaskets. Hopefully well get it to the track this weekend if we can keep a HG in it lol.

I didn't use any oil control jet, even though I think the A6 had one too.

I also forgot to meantion that I'm still using my stock 160K DX tranny, hehe..

Low compression sucks ?? I have 8.4/1 and I get 5psi at 2100rpms and full boost by 3000rpms with the stock DX 1'' exhuast system... Don't let anyone tell you low compression isn't good on a street car with "shady EMS".. My turbo is "small" but the TD04L-13T holds upto 13psi till 7200 RPMs on my engine...
