tonight went to local track its about a hour drive made some sorry passes 14.6@97mph was running 14.1@102mph street tires, anyhow i was coming from track stopped to get gas i popped my hood to check on things check water and oil b/c i had a drive ahead of me i tried to pull out dip stick was so hot i couldnt touch never had this sort of problem when i got it out got in the light the whole stick was just smoking anyhow oil level was good, before i had my downpipe wrapped w/ heat wrap now its not thanxs to a leaky rear seal.could this be a factor im running 10-30 castrol i know its not the best but any suggestions?????

Does your dipstick touch your turbo mani? if so bend the metal so it doesnt. Other than that you have to understand you were racing and **** under the hood just gets hot. I doubt heat wrap on the downpipe would have prevented it significantly.
