smoke at start up
A few weeks back we installed a Drag Gen 3 kit on a 99 Civic SIR. We got it up and running and tuned it on the dyno. We never seen any smoke at start up or at any other time. The car was never run unsafe. Now a few weeks later we can notice that after the car sits over night and we start it there is a fair bit of smoke coming out of the tail pipe. It lasts about three to four shot's of throttle and then it's totaly gone untill it again sits over night and we go to start it again. There is no smoke at any time after the first few shots of throttle, no smoke while driving at all. You can let it sit for say two hours and start it and still now smoke. It seems to only happen while the car sits many hours and only for a few sec's at start up. I have check the return line setup and it seems to be graded well and of propper diameter. Could it be the seals in the turbo? or could it be something else that we are over looking? I have also heard this being a problem with these kits. Any opinions or comments would be great. Thanks

thats my guess also.
thats my guess also.
The motor would not have much over 40,000 KM. The guy who actually owns it treats it like a baby I swear (maybe thats the problem!!) but seriously the car is treated extremely well. We all still wonder why he even got a turbo on it because he hardly ever run's it up into VTEC. I guess it's always a possibility but I think it's more to do with the recent turbo setup. I have been hearing that people have had problems with the turbo's found in the Drag kit.
Thanks for all the opinions and comments thus far.
