Smoke out of intercooler
I have an 88 Dodge Daytona with a Garrett turbo. the motor has a blown headgasket and 78,000 miles. i started to take the intake/intercooler piping off and i decided to start my car. Well, smoke is coming from my intercooler pipe. Im kinda guessing its my bearings but im not for sure and i wanted some expert help. So, is it my bearings, or am i way off?

And yes, that sounds like your problem. Burning oil in the turbo.</TD></TR></TABLE>
Are they replacable? And how much should i expect $ wise?

Try calling around to some deisel shops, A few of the ones around here rebuild turbos also. I got one done for my 86 Dytona a few years back at KC deisel for around 175. Just an idea.
