Default INTERCOOLER HELP!!!!!

Hey my cold air intake just broke on my 99 integra ls, i am planning on putting my turbo setup on the car in like 2 or 3 weeks. The question is will it cause a problem to put my intercooler on for now and just run it as a huge intake???

Ummmm, I don't think it will kill the engine. But if you choose to go this route for turbo prep, just put a filter on the end of it if you can. You def don't want to be sucking rock and debris into the IC.

the intercooler wont do anything but take up space and make you look like a ricer til you get a turbo on there

Hahaha, ok. But if you choose to go to FMIC/intake route, put a filter and there and clean it before you put on your turbo.

i drove around w/ my IC but no turbo for about 2 months cuz i wanted to get everything put on without putting the turbo on

but yea, you can either throw the filter on the end of the IC, or turn it into a SRI

That SRI intake sounds like the best thing. If he has to do the FMIC, than do it, but if able to make it into a SRI, I def would. Good idea krazyh.
