Default Smoke from Engine Bay

Yeah I got a 88 crx si with a b16a turboed its been smoking out of the valve cover, not the valve cover itself but , damn I forgot the name of the thing its that lil Hose that comes from the valve cover, I would drive it down to a shop and see what the problem is (if there is one)but I wanna see if I should even be driving it, The car starts right up though, I know I dont know I sound like a noob or whatever but help me out, cars boostin about 9 psi

Your ringlands are more than likely gone. Time for a rebuild.

thanks, but could it be that the car hasnt been ran in a long time too ? , because the car hasnt been started in about 7 months, started it up last night

more than likely it's your rings, do a compression test.

Same thing happen to me, ended up being that I cracked a couple ringlands.

Yeah, it's most likely your rings, so compression test it. Same thing happened to me on the dyno, car hadn't run in 4 months, started it up, took it to the dyno and noticed that there was a little bit of smoke coming out of the breather. Figured it was from sitting so long, made a run, smoke started pouring out of the breather along with some oil spray.

I would avoid driving it if possible. I kept driving mine for about 3 more months while I waited on a new motor, but I never hit boost. I just had to drive it to get it to events and shows, car started and drove perfectly, but the motor definitely wasn't healthy.
