its a new manifold (not coated) new down pipe (coated with self etch primer and engine block enamel ) , with exhaust insulating wrap.

i'm not leaking oil and i don't have head gasket issues , a light smoke looks like its coming from the exhaust wrap.

is this normal ? if so , how long till it burns off ?

 

Everytime I have used header wrap it smokes and usually lasts, oh IDK, say 20 minutes of driving?
