If you installed a slim fan and the whole fan wasn't sitting completely up against the radiator, would it cause your car to overheat? Some fans, for example have shrouds to help channel the air through. The way my slim fan is sitting, half of it is up against the radiator while the other have is hanging about 1/2 inch from the radiator. Would this cause the air that's suppose to be pulling through to escape through the crack?
