Radiator Fan / Push or Pull
Hey just picked up a aftermarket radiator fan off the internet..... to make it a push fan, all i have to do is just unbolt the fan blade and flip it right? or do i have to switch around the 2 wires too?

Re: Radiator Fan / Push or Pull
well from what i gather i think you have the wrong idea of how a radiator fan is designed to work with the cooling system. a fan needs to PULL air through the coil aka radiator so that it can be cooled by the outside air also going through the coil. if you make it PUSH you will be defeating the entire purpose of the fan thus fan blowing air one way and outside air coming in at whatever speed youre driving at thus defeating the purpose of the fan in the first place, and cause you to overheat. you want the fan to PULL air through the coil NOT PUSH.
