Default SLEEVED BLOCK OWNERS........please read...

If i am planning to run 7-9 psi on a c1 with pistons, rods, pins, rings, and bearings replaced as well as a new stock head...do i need to weld in iron sleeves? if so, what kind do you guys recommend? and where did you bring the block to have it done? thanks fellas...

Sleeves are just for added safety and peace of mind......for 7 to 9psi, I wouldn't worry about it too much...If you're going to boost beyond 20psi...then maybe you should consider it. Golden eagle seems to be the brand of choice.

What kind of sleeves do you have and where is the shop located at in Raleigh. Do you have any pics of the sleeves installed? and what all did you get done to your block other than the sleeves? Thanks

I've got Darton's from 93LSivic....Nice product. But for 7~9psi you won't need anything but decent tuning and some common sence.
