SLEEVED BLOCK OWNERS........please read...
If i am planning to run 7-9 psi on a c1 with pistons, rods, pins, rings, and bearings replaced as well as a new stock head...do i need to weld in iron sleeves? if so, what kind do you guys recommend? and where did you bring the block to have it done? thanks fellas...
Sleeves are just for added safety and peace of mind......for 7 to 9psi, I wouldn't worry about it too much...If you're going to boost beyond 20psi...then maybe you should consider it. Golden eagle seems to be the brand of choice.
you dont need it for those boost levels. hell , they got so many of those 10 sec stock blocks runing around VA i wonder why i ever got mine sleeved.
golden eagle or darton sleeves...talk to viren for goldeneagle and there are a few distributors of dartons here as well.
