Default Cooling Problem......Please help me :)

Well i just got my car back with a new clutch in
Now my car is over heating

When driving , the temp needle goes about 3/4 up and close to hitting the red mark. I popped the hood and me upper radiator hose(fat one) was getting really fat and looked like its about to blow up.

Please, what the heck could go wrong? What are some thing I should check?

Thanks for you time.

do you have any kinks in the hoses? If the upper looks abnormally fat, it could mean there is a clog somewhere..

haha...its not clogged. Sounds like the people who installed your clutch had some fun with the car maybe? That either means you have a blown head gasket or your thermostat went bad. First things first id spend 6 bucks on a stant thermostat because theres a huge huge chance that it just seized and went bad.

Thanks a lot. Also I remember a while back I didnt know(mee noob) that you had to mix the coolant with 50/50 water. does this make a difference?

check the coolant level first (if you haven't already). then change the thermostat. Make sure the fans are coming on. make sure you don't have ne oil in your coolant or coolant in your oil. if you do, its time to make the shop change out your headgasket for free!

Haha...blowing your head gasket...and it just gets worse like hurting pistons and cycl. walls, warping head and deck surfaces.
