Sleeper gauge locations
Pritos - Do you have any pictures of your a/f rear mirror install while the car's running, meaning with the gauge illuminated? How much do the lights interfear with your rear view, did you dim the lights with a resistor or add a toggle switch or something?
Here's my Doug's bezel with z-series autometer's (f/p not plugged in), looks stock... but not very sleeper:

Does anyone remember the post of a guy with a turbo type R and the custom guages that were on his dash underneath the passenger air bag lid?? It was custom made by that guys buddy who was an electrical engineer and created a worm that sensed when the car was on and would open up when the car was started. That some some sleeper good stuff and I want to do mine that way.
Finally a use for them utterly useless 6th gen Civic cupholders! I hate them damn things!

Whoa its back from the DEAD!
Here is a video I usually link to when I show those pics. I"ll probably reach my bandwidth limit in a day so get it while its hot.

Vid quality sucks and the file is huge for such a small vid. But my pc vid editing software is really bad.

Cool stuff. One of my buddies has a single pod for his boost gauge that has suction cups on the top. So when he takes it off of his window (like a radar detector) he can do whatever with it.
I've been wondering about something. Obviously its vital to be able to view the gauges while driving...Has anyone fabricated a shield or face to hide their gauges when not in use. Something simple, but I haven't seen it yet. Hence sleeper.
What is the point of putting gauges in the glove box where you can't even see them? I have a hard enough time monitoring all of my gauges and they are all right around me, let alone looking at them across and down in a glove box while accelerating.
Unless its a show car, put the gauges somewhere that you can use them or don't waste your money. Profecs, hondata, stuff that you don't need to touch is fine, but even my profec I want access to for Overtake!

you can pretty much say that about everyone here with their gauges in the glove box or under the radio or in little slots and trays etcc. my gauges at least have angle rings in em so they face towards me when im driving.
