skunk2 cam???

Default skunk2 cam???

Im building a b16 with 9:1 compression pistons, eagle rods, arp head,main studs. skunk2 titanium retainers and pro valve springs, i got hondata 300 also. and im planning on running about 8-10 lbs of boost. heres my question. would the skunk2 pro1 be a better cam or the skunk2 tuner1 be better. I can get a better deal on the pro1's but if its gonna hurt performance i will purchase the tuner1's. also what intake would you guys recommend on a setup like this. edlebrock victor? skunk2 pro series. I know there is other posts like this but none were very helpful. let me know what you guys think and if you have ran a set up like this what worked best for you. thanks for the help

well i always buy stuff just incase i change my mind later and want to make more power so go with the pro 1's and victor x

I would go with the victor x manifold........What turbo are you gonna be running?

depends on your turbo, but if you're running that low of boost, i'm gonna say tuner1s are probably for you.

thanks for the replies. I was thinking something like a gt30r for a turbo. let me know what you guys think.

My buddy is running d16z6 with crower springs, retainers, stock valves, and comp cams with stock bolck. he is using t25 turbo and pushing 212whp with 10lbs boost and 12:83 1/4 mile. You probably get a better result with your setup.

12.83 aint bad. ok what if i wanted to run like 8-10psi just around the street but on track days wanted to boost to 16-18psi. do you fellas think i would be loosing power and have rough driveability problems on the street if i went with victor x, pro1's, gt35r. a little rough idle aint bad or not passing emissions.. whatever. will this setup be falling on its face until it reaches 6000rpms. 1 last question, how long does a b16 usually last boosted 10psi or above or even low boost 7-8. how many miles have you guys seen! thanks for the replies.
