Icon6 Skunk Pro 1's.....OS Valves

Hi friends,

Can I use the Pro 1's with 1mm oversize valves in a B18c head?
If no,what kind of after market turbo cams can I use.
My goals are 600hp-700hp

+1's all the way around will definately need to have teh V2V checked to be safe, you should be able to get away with +.5's. I know it can be done but you definately need to take all the necessary measurments.

My cylinder head is already done and assambled.

That's why I'm asking.

Also I have a set of Mfactory cam gears. I know that I have to tune on a dyno but can somebody help me and tell me how much can I degree CTR cams on OS valves before I go on a dyno

I need to get the most power possible from this engine as this year I'm hoping for 9's

Thanks for your help guys

The 1mm of oversize in conjunction with high lift/long duration cams will make your window of safe clearances between your intake and exhaust valves smaller. So you're going to have to check your safe zones of cam gear adjustment so you do not go beyond that safe zone during cam shaft tuning.

So put your head on a bench and lock the VTEC rockers. Put your cams in and put an old timing belt that is just the right size to go around the two cam pulleys. Then turn the cams together and check the valve-valve clearances at different cam adjustments. That will give you your safe zone.
