sizing injectors for E85?

Default sizing injectors for E85?

plan on making around 400-450 on my build so im stuck between injector choices i was thinking 1000cc then some people were telling me thats WAY too much fuel but i thought it seemed to suit my build. so any input?

1000cc injectors would be a good size for your power goals on e85.

theres also rumor that they are putting in a 110 leaded fuel pump in soon near the track. i think i would be able to make more power with that. but i know i wont need those 1000's that high would i

You could probably get away with 880s, but might as well go with 1000s because 110 is going to be $$$$$$ to fill up everytime.

I'm using 1000s and making 435 whp on E85. With my setup (H22) I'm just about out of injector capacity. With race gas and 1000s, I made 465 whp and had lots of capacity left.

Since all EMS's (even uberdata) can idle 750's like stock (and 1k's w/little effort), a 1k injector for E85 will be fine. The thing to remember is it uses 20-30% more fuel at idle, not just WOT. So the largest usable gasoline injector your EMS can idle can be sized 20-30% larger.

I'd say go with 880's or 1000's and you'll be fine.
