if you are stuck between a b series swap and a turbo d, let me put this out there. a b16 swap lets say costs $2500 on average (i don't know if this is accurate but it should be close) and you get 160 bhp which is somewhere around 140whp. for around $1500-$2000 you could piece together your own budget turbo kit and put down 200-220 whp on a stock motor. if you are considering the turbo d series, then make sure that you visit turbod16.com. there are answeres to all the turbo questions that you need to know.

I paid a little over 1k to boost my d16. And i can basically kill any stock b16 or b18 swap out there. Boost it!

boost the D, its a lot of fun

with just a swap theres no need for gauges and turbo timer and other fun stuff mounted in the car for the girls to say "oooooh whats that"

definitely go to http://www.turbod16.com and research, boost your car, blow the doors off swaps and then laugh at them when you tell its a SOHC that cost a TON less to make more power

so that site turbod16 would have a lot of good info do they also have steps that u can take if u r gunna do it urself cause budget is one thing and getting it done by professionals is another i was wondering if they gave steps on installing if not then thats fine

wen i look at it doing a swap is more expaensive than just going turbo on a single cam cause like u guys say u guys spent like a 1k on it or peice ing it together thats sounds pretty good

I bought my used greddy kit complete for about $1400 shipped with FMIC.

I bought a wideband, boost gauge, and got it tuned.

it's a great set oif training wheels for boost.
