Default Single BB Turbo

Just wondering why my turbo spins slow at start up...But once its warmed up it spins much faster than at idle..Single ball bearing..Just rebuilt this is about the 5th start up.. Is the oil pressure too high and locking up the bearings? excuse me for the noobishness LOL

Because there is not a lot of exhaust energy to do much past the initial moment of inertia. When you've idled the car , the compressor wheel is already moving enough to stay spinning since it won't slow to standstill. You're fine. Don't overthink

also, i think oil is a little thicker when it isnt at operation temperature, creating more resistance. when it gets nice and warm it doesnt hold it back as much
