Simple question or two.
Ok, I am soon to go turbo. Almost have all the money ready.
I did a search and found that I should get an EGT gauge, and a boost gauge.
I went to shop around for some boost gauges, and found ones with boost and vacuum and then just boost,
so why have a vacuum reading? incase something breaks? /confused

when your car isnt in boost it is in vacuum. The vacuum reading is good for a number of reasons. If your car is idling at 10 in/hg then you know you have a problem with something. Fluctuations in the vacuum reading at idle can also mean you have a problem. I guess you dont have to get the gauge with the vac reading, but why not?
