Default Silicone Hose

so how many feet of Silicone Hose does a kit usaually need? what size is best?

Size? get what ever fits the charge pipes you have and the intercooler.. Most couplers are 3" long so if your gonna order it in bulk just figure out the number of joint. FWIW roadrace sells it for $24/ft and turbopiping has it for $6/coupler. it works out to the same price and I think they are the cheapest. Infact turbopiping is almost always the cheapest.. If you need an oddball piece look at turbohoses.com.

I'm planning to run 2.25" from the turbo to the intercooler and 2.5" from there.

i got my silicone vac lines from mcmaster.com. I dont remember how much it was but it was pretty cheap.

mcmaster.com I order quite a bit from there. Just ordered some taps and devcon aluminum putty for block posting.

2 feet would suffice in most applications if you were to use 3 inch hose sections. What kind of car ? And if you use the same piping throughout without transition hoses then you might need less than 2 feet.

he's talking about vacuum hose I think. I'd order up at least 6+feet. That way you'll have extra too.

5/32 did my wagon. that was all factory components though, FMU, BOV, internal WG of a td04. I just use Napa rubber hose, has never failed on me. Of course ive never run much more than 10 psi either.

ive been told 1/4" for wg and 1/8" for everything else? i got my silicone hose from napa but i get a discount
