Show me your Hondata clutch switch installs!!!
Just wondering how you guys did yours?
Got my switch today (finally), and am just kinda wondering what the best way to mount it would be.
TIA,
Bryson

Re: Show me your Hondata clutch switch installs!!! (Bryson)
With my Hondata clutch switch, I took out the OEM cruise control clutch switch and replaced it with the Hondata unit. Only downside to this is you lose cruse control because it cuts the circuitry for the cruise control system. I am sure that I could just put some sort of plug in the end of the connector and make it work again, but I haven't done that yet.
When you put it in, if you use it in that location, you need to do some more adjusting than the stock switch. It needs to be adjusted so you don't have weird transitions with the 3step. If the clutch pedal is ever so slightly pressed the switch will think the clutch pedal is on the floor, and you will be limited to your full-throttle shift RPM.

Ok, back on topic...
My car is a 4th gen, so it doesn't have cruise control. I havn't really looked at the assembly yet, but I think I'm gonna have to make a braket.

Man I am in the same situation. But I have an 88. Since yours is a 91 you could take out the clutch switch and use that hole. There has to be a way to make the clutch switch permanent like an 88.

I think you have to make a bracket for the 4th gen. Mine is also on the cruise control switch location.
