Hi guys, i have a jdm b18 turbo on my ef ( see my sig) .
I'm running 18 psi with the drag gen 3 turbo kit.The engines is making 400whp.What should i first upgrade?
I'm thinking to change the intercooler or the inlet manifold and throttle body.
What do you guys suggest?The engine has stock sleeves so i 'll be not going more than 23 psi.I use my car at the strip only....

If you still running your drag intercooler then upgrade that first. 2 inche inlets on the drag intercooler is kinds of small. and are you still running the drag T3 T4 turbo, if you are that turbo is kind of small too so it will create alot of heat if you are boosting high so a bigger intercooler is a must.

 

Yes i'm with the drag gen turbo, so my first upgrade will be the inter cooler and then the turbo.Which size do i have to make the intercooler?

You could get a Precision intercooler. The 600-hp or 750-hp

 

why not log some iats before spending money on a new intercooler??? even though i think 400whp is probably the limit for the drag IC.

 

Thanks guys,i'm going to replace my i/c first .After that i'll try to replace the turbo.I was thinking of gt35r or gt40r.What do you recommend?

if you are running around 400whp get the percission 600 or 750 and get 3in ic piping.

 

then get the victor x intake mani and get a tb. then get the turbo.
