have drag 3 intercooler on my 00si...i need to upgrade intercooler... i have it maxed out (fully tuned by inline pro) at 280whp....i want to upgrade but dont want to take off my bumper beam or modify it at all...need some advice for intercoolers to hold between 350-400whp...thanks for any help...also what are the max dimensions i can have without cutting my bumper beam, etc...i know i cant go more than 6inches in height?...thanks again

The DRAG intercooler will support up to 400whp. Most guys push 280whp with the stock DRAG kit right out of the box. I would double check it's not something else that is maxing out.

The max dimensions you can use without cutting is the exact size of the DRAG intercooler: 27"x7"x2.5-3.0".

 

280whp isn't "maxxed out" by any means. I have a couple friends making 340whp - 380whp with the Drag intercooler and Drag intercooler pipes.

 

26x6.5x2.5...thats the dimensions for my intercooler i measured...anyways...inline pro tuned for 12lbs...and they said the intercooler was about maxed out...so im trying to figure something

 

ok so the drag 3 kit intercooler maxes out at 400whp....? **** i guess there is something wrong then...not sure what though....when inlinepro tuned they said it was maxed out...guess ill give them a call and see what they say
