Wow, that's crazy. Can I ask why you are getting out of honda's now? It's like your letting the thieves win by not jumping right back into it. Is it kinda like a been there done that feeling with hondas now? You did have a dream car and I dont think there was much else you could do to it. But the fact is, any car can get stolen. I'm sure your passion for hooking up cars will never go away..so the same thing might happen to your next ride.

That's awful man, and I know how you feel. I bought a 68 Coronet 440 for 500 bucks in 1990 when I was 15. I spent almost every day working on that car for 2 years, and I had it totally restored/modded: Interior was brand new, entire car was rea-painted black, had some torq thrust D's on it, and a sweet motor (440 stroked to 500, 11.5:1 CR, HUGE cam, nitrous plate) and I got to drive it for ONE day after it was finished before it was stolen and wrecked.

Sorry man, I know how it feels to put hundreds of hours into something and to have it taken away by some ******* who's probably just trying to get drug money.

Its been just over a year since we first installed the drag3 kit on your gsr. and did my kit on my integra. and when I think back, my best memories arent of us showing off are freshly turbo'd integras. They are of us in my garage hanging out, having fun working on the cars. Whatever u decide to do, I dont see you giving up, its just not one of your personality traits.. We will be in my garage building a monster soon again. just next time we might not be playing w/ t3/t4's maybe well be hailing to the t88 gods this time.

I think it really is because I always think where i could park my car so that i could see it several times a day...

Stan, bro.. We have been through alot of struggles together.. When you called and told me I was actually more worried about you or Art being hurt or something. Dont get me wrong. I care about your car but I care about my friends more. I have made some awesome friends on here and to be honest I am prolly done with cars for a while. I want the media, theives, drama, etc to die down before I get back into it. I am gonna do as Chris mentioned to me the other night. Re-Order my priorities and make sure my life is going in the right direction. Cars are cars.. I care more about my friendships I have made off this board. If you need me, call.. It will work its self out. You will probably lose money, time, effort, and alot of sleep but in a year it will just be a memory and something else will occupy your time and effort ready for you to accomplish that. Keep your head up!

 

That's what really scares me about JDM front ends. It instantly gives it away that you have a nice and EXPENSIVE car to steal. Even though I know the ******** will never be found, I just hope that one day somebody lynches them by their *****.

Keep your head up. I don't blame you though if you don't mod another car. If my car ever gets stolen, I will never mod a car again.
