Wow, more amazing is the torque hasn't started dropping yet. It also appears to spool better than a vtec head would.

I like seeing people jumping for joy in the 380hp b16 thread, then first post indicating imminent failure here.

As stated this isn't mine but a fellow eCtuner's customer. If i had to guess probably 3500 including tune?

Simple bolt on kit, with some cams and tuning and i believe a different manifold..

Just let us know when it blows up. Or better yet, go put a set of slicks on it and make a pass at the track this spring if its still running "healthy"

Early in the year I pushed B18a engine to 400whp, Just to see if it could take it. To say the least, It did....on street tires. Being burning out didn't get me anywhere. I through my 24.5in M/T's on and went down the road. First pull, went through first and second and saw a cop so I slowed down. Turned around, Second pull, 1-3 gears...made it into 3rd gear for about 1000rpms and......Boom. Rod let chunks of it come out my front bumper...nasty.

These engine can and will make power...for a short period of time. I am not afriad to push a stock enngine on a dyno for a short period of time to see a high number....because thats all its going to do.

However, Good job. But do a pull on some good tires!

ARP rod bolts alone would probably have saved your motor. I have seen couple of stock bottom end motors throw a rod and the motor had no signs of detonation.

The rest of the rods were bent/warped very badly after a complete teardown to see what the internals looked like. Two rods were shattered, meaning in peice's, one appeared to have broken the bolt and the other in chunks. The other two rods were warped into what looked like boomarang's. Either way, I have no doubt a good couple pulls will destroy any stock engine at this HP.

However, everyone is wrong....no one is always right. So please be the person to prove this wrong and run amazing times and lets see it hold together for multiple pass's.

Best of luck.
