FI Classified forum is really not a bad idea.

 

My vote is on a FI forum...

 

 

I personally enjoy perusing FI related group buys in the turbo forum and have made many great purchases through them, but recently it seems like there has been a massive influx of n00bs posting/thread jacking group buys in here. What if there was a Tekken rating system for people to post ads in the FI forums, based upon customer satisfaction, overall legitimacy of the business, AND tech contributions to the forum? This would cut down on the number of ads that are posted by new members and still allow people to present FI related buys to this forum, just in a more organized fashion. I completely agree it has gotten out of hand, but it seems like just a few months ago there were far fewer useless ads posted here. N00bs have been abusing the lax rules and that should be dealt with, but there are a good number of shops that advertise that do give back to the HT community in a variety of ways - advertisement, technical information, and just plain making this forum enjoyable. I spent a lot of time on other boards before settling on HT, because once I came here I was amazed at the multitude of technical info available and the amazing group buys that you cannot find elsewhere. Taking away advertising in the FI forum completely would most likely result in higher prices for HT members because competition would be less intense. Just some of my random thoughts on the subject, I'm sure you guys will find a way to add some structure without losing any of the positive aspects of FI forum ads
