Default Searched around, still curious...

I just bought a t3 turbo...ford SVO chra...needs a rebuild tho...i saw on ebay that a rebuild kit is around 80 bux for the kit...is it hard to do? special tools needed? any info would be appreciated...TIA

get a good set of snap ring pliers, with long tips on them. becuae the snap rings holding in the bearings are bitch to get to. the cheap ones just break.

and be sure to send it to someone to get it balanced.. 1 gram of inbalanbe at 100,000plus rpm can spell disaster for a turbo

well, phoenix turbo charges 250 for a rebuild with balancing. if you provided the rebuild kit, im not too sure what they would charge
