Default SC6262 question, please help

i ordered a precision sc6262 with a 4 bolt housing recently, i havent recieved it yet but im wondering if the exhaust housing has a 2.5 or 3" outlet? ive asked plenty of people and still havent been able to get a staright answer on this. thanks in advance.

its also a t3 with .82 a/r

I believe its 2.5, unless you get the S cover with vband option...maybe someone else will chime in

yeah i bought a new downpipe and its 3" and my turbo isnt here yet just wondering if i need to order an adapter.

my turbo is coming with the SP cover

yeah I have a ported S cover on my 6262 but I went with the vband option, for the 3". Im 99% sure that unless its the vband, its 2.5"

i was told the 4 bolt and the vband are the same. i know a friend who has a vband 6265 and its 2.5 and he had to buy an adapter.

think I read somewhere that all t3 are 2.5" and t4 3", will look it up.

yeah i looked everywhere and cant find anything, even right on precision it doesnt say, that i seen.

This is what Jeff Evans told me on his forum:

"There is a v-band option on the turbo housing from precision that is a 3" outlet on it. That is all that I use. All 4 bolt, non GT series turbine housings, have a 2.5" or so outlet on the turbine housings. That would be from garrett or precision."

6265E e compressor cover, 2" outlet, 3" inlet
6265E-B same as above, but ball bearing
6265S s cover, 2.5" outlet, either a 3 or 4" inlet, i don't remember.
6265S-B ball bearing
6265SP ported s cover, 2.5" outlet, 4" inlet
6265SP-B ball bearing.

yeah i know the 6765 has a 3" outlet option.. not sure about the 6262,, me and my buddy ordered the 6262 and they have the same size outlet, from what i was told by the place i ordered. i got a 4 bolt, he got a vband.

well kind of. if you have a t3 flanged inlet and v-band outlet, its 2.5". i think the v-band in and out is 3" but i could be wrong.

you have a 2.5" outlet. v-bands are not measured by the size of the flange.

Your correct I measured the OD, the ID is 2.5"
