Default Question regarding GT35R...

Hey guys, Ive been searching, but to no avail. I think I have settled on a GT35R for my sleeved 83mm GSR, but I read somewhere about some problems I may have with the downpipe. I think I am going to go .63AR, and Ive read that a 3" DP isnt able to be used with the .63, only the .82 and up...is this true? If its not, is it just a normal 3" 4bolt? Someone please help me out with all this...I dont want to order the incorrect turbo...TIA!!

No. you can use the .63A/R exhaust housing you would have to slightly flare it w/ the 2.5" weld flange.

Thanks for the input! Sorry, your wording is throwing me off a bit...no I CANT use a 3" DP or YES i can? There is no way to get a true 3" housing on a .63 AR? If not, how would I make it work?

hes saying you can, he is suggesting just getting a 2.5" piece right off the flange, flaring it out to 3" from there.

Oh Ok, thanks, so there is absolutely only a 2.5" exhaust for the .63? So I definitely have to flare it?

Go to ATP turbo, they should have something for you.

I believe garret sells it with the true 3inch outlet and precision sells it with the 2.5

I have the 2.5

I was gonna say...
You can get the .63ar with a true 3" discharge from Garrett.
One thing to remember, a Garrett GT 4-bolt is not the same as a standard 4-bolt.

Or you can get one with a V-band turbine housing
