Talk to you tuner about power levels. The power you are looking for, presumebly on pump gas, is pushing it on a stock B16a if it's a daily driver. Also, the SC61E is a little larger than you need which will create some lag. Some people don't mind this while others do.

Trim has nothing to do with the size of a turbo. Trim is only used to differentiate between wheels of a similar series, IE TO4E 50 trim, 57 trim, 60 trim. A 40 trim turbo could be larger than a 70 trim turbo, so trim really doesn't mean a whole lot. an SC61 only uses one type of compressor wheel, a GT40 56-trim wheel. On most of PTE's T3/T4's you have the choice between a Stage 3 (T31) or a Stage 5 (T350) wheel, but I believe PTE does not sell SC61's with a Stage 3 wheel. They also don't sell the SC61 with a .48 A/R hot side, so you're limited to the choice of a .63 A/R or a .82 A/R turbine housing. Unless you're pushing 600+ WHP, 30+ pounds of boost, and trying to push the SC61 to it's absolute max there is no reason to run a .82 A/R housing. The only real option you have on it at this point is to use a TO4S housing or not, which is al extra $100 on the price of the turbo. The TO4S housing flows more air than the TO4E, at the cost of a bit of efficiency.

so your sayin mostly all sc61 are the same besides the a/r? the s housing is better? wouldnt it make more turbo lag? so overall just get a sc61 with a 57trim and .63a/r....isnt the turbo max is 680hp? is it true the less the max the faster it spools? like the sc34 etc.
thx for info
