Hey guys I just bought this turbo.. DOnt know exactly what it is. Says precision and A/R .60 and .63. Is it a SC61? Also I am new to turbos, do I just play with the wheel to check for shaft play? All fins and everything look great with no marks or scraps of any kind.

See the number inscribed on the compressor housing, near the outlet. You can almost make it out in your second pic.

What does it say?

How do I tell what condition it is in? It seams to have a little side to side play but no in and out

 

the in and out is what is really bad...

 

ok thanks. I plan on putting this on a H22, I am not looking for much in terms of horsepower. I know there are many factors but what would 8 PSI be like I wonder? And Im guessing 8PSI wont be real hard on the turbo as well

Ok any idea what 8PSI would Yield. I want less than 300whp. Im guessing id be fine with 8

 

You'll make less than 300whp on that turbo at 8 psi, no problem

 

i know lots of factors but would i be the in 250range or in the higher 200s
