Not to disrespect precision, but I would really like to see some dyno's of Garrett vs Precision for power levels under 400whp. ie. SC-50 vs. 50 Trim Garrett. It seems like in the big power levels, the precision works well, but is it worth the extra dollars for 350whp?

what size garret would be comparable to the sc34. thats one of my hang ups with precison. I'm not sure what size i should go with. I'm willing to pay the difference. after all i have spent the difference isn't much for better perfomance. I'm just not sure that it will outperform the garret at lower boost levels. when talking to the guys at cheapturbo.com i was recommended this one

COMPRESSOR SPECS:

.60 A/R HOUSING

57 TRIM WHEEL

TURBINE SPECS:

.48 A/R HOUSING

STAGE 3 WHEEL

standard with 270 degree thrust bearing

The SC34 uses the Garrett 57 trim T04E.

from what i've read the only difference between them are the compressor and turbine housings, and the 360 bearings....other than that the bearing housing and wheels are the the same.

so the performance will be nearly the same or the spool time will be nearly the same? I've been leaning toward the sc34 for some time,ah time for more research.
