safe setup?
Hey peepol.. I know most of you will probably just yell search at me but for those of you who arent... Im currently in the process of makin a turbo setup for my b16. So its a Jdm b16 in a excoupe, wanted to do the whole deal.. sleeving etc. but not enough $$.. so currently this is what i got.. 255lph walboro, aem fpr, hondata s200 w/boost, greddy type rs bov, lookin for a tial 38mil waste, 440s, and ngk iridium ix's .. 7th heatrange (1 cooler than oem i think). im only lookin to push 6-7psi for now.. is this safe to run on stock sleeves, rods, pistons? =/ i hope so... im lookin to make like +230 whp nothin crazy.. just dont want my motor to blow.. i know this is vague but any input would be nice for a boost noob like me thanks

stock bseries made 400 whp? when i say stock i mean like no head work.. no bottom end work.. all boltons fuel, ignition work, and tuning?

Yes It has been done many of times, anyway I wouldn't use the AEm fpr, I have seen a lot of them explode the diaphrams and hydrolock the motor with fuel.

Hydrolock with fuel? Interesting. I always thought you could only h-lock with something unflammable. Seems like when the spark plug ignites it would just blow up the extra fuel and maybe bog a lot, but would the injectors really allow enough fuel to get in to cause the piston to not be able to compress fully?

Yes I have had first hand experience with that. Without a diaphram there is no regulation on FP, which would mean that the whatever is in the rail gets dumped into the combustion chamber @wot on a stock computer. Figure out a pump has a capacity of 80-100 psi of FPR(inline btw) dumped into the motor.

but i already said im gonna be ona hondata.. not stock computer.. and using a stock fpr wouldnt beable to regulate the 255lph fuel pump enough would it?
