ive been runnin a 75 shot for the past month with no probs...........
now i have 390 cc injectors fuel rail and i will get my hondata tuned for the new injectors.......
with all this fuel u think its safe to run a 100 shot with my nx wet kit......car has 140km's on it and the oil stays gold all the time....
what egts should i get concerned with..........what is normal for nos
thanks

Re: is it safe to run a 100 shot (NXTEG)
Well, first of all...what kit are you running? Wet or Dry?
A wet system already supplies the fuel with the nitrous in the nozzle. So to increase the shot, just go with bigger fuel jets to accomodate the extra n02.
You can't really tune the bigger 390 injectors for nitrous since it'll run super rich off the bottle, unless you can toggle between N/A fuel maps and n02 fueling. I think that's what Hondata is trying to update with their system.
Whereas a dry system increases fuel pressure to add more fuel, and the nitrous is sprayed directly into the intake. The thing is that the nitrous system is tuned for STOCK injectors. If you use bigger injectors and try to spray, it'll increase the fuel pressure and you'll probably run really rich.
You CAN run a 100shot. I just don't know how long before things start to go...

100 shot is cool for a direct port.
the wet kit is great becuase it supplie more fuel and all and thats what i have, but i think the 100 shot will be too much for it . you gotta think about even dist with this single fogger kit .
if you do it let me know how it goes, cuz i wanna up my shot , but thinking twice becuase only a single fogger.

Re: is it safe to run a 100 shot (CovertFI)
Single nozzle or direct port? Being as it's from NX, I'm assuming single nozzle.
You can just change fuel/nitrous jets and run 100. BUT, I would keep an eye on symptoms of things going...like oil blowby, smoking exhaust, low cylinder compression #'s, etc. And of course detonation. I assume you have TWO step colder plugs, retarded timing, and running on 91+ octane exclusively, correct?

single nozzle.......i using 1 step colder ngk plugs 94 octain all the way....timing is currently stock but i will definatley retard it for a 100 shot.......
since im using the wet kit the injectors wont really make a difference.....
any idea about what type of EGTs i should expect to see with that much Juice.....

I have a friend that ran a 12.9 (on street tires) in a civic hatchback with a stock d16y8 with a 150 shot wet nx kit. He ended up blowing up the motor after 10 or 15 runs...but it gives you an idea of how strong a honda motor can be. 100% stock d16y8 motor!!
