you can find b16a blocks for $250 all day...complete</TD></TR></TABLE>

Maybe you can find B16A blocks, the obd0 ones but i'd like to know if you can find the Obd1 B16A3 or Obd2 B16A2 for a couple hundred. If you do then PM me right away!

ok I would like to say the whole reason for asking this question was becuase I am lacking money. The only guage I have currently is a boost guage thats sitting inside of the glove box becuase I didn't buy the cluster bezel yet. I know I should get a good setup to control the a/f and get it dyno tuned and hopefully I will be able to afford that eventually. but for the nest 6 months minimum I can't, so going by you guys advice I will set it for 8psi. thanks again to those who offered their advice and knowledge.

I don't suppose we could convince you to not boost till you have the money to upgrade your system, huh? My buddy waited a full year to boost his Si till he had the right parts. Talk about patience.

Oh, and honestly... I meant its getting hard to find legit B16s and B18C(x)s. Of course there's always stolen ones, but good luck getting RS machines and places like that to work on a hot block. Not to mention that some tracks and racing bodies are cracking down on having stolen motors in your car.

I have already waited a few years and have already spent 3k on it. if the blue box was really a big piece of crap then I wouldn't have bothered using it. but numerous people have used it with no problem. and I know I could get more power with it properly tuned.
