Safe boost?
I am currently boosting 5 psi on a Turbonetics 60-1 on a stock B16. The most im going to push is 7 pounds on crome. Im thinking maybe 9 psi would be enough after a cometic head gasket and head studs. Friends said I could run 9 for now on a tune, but I don't trust 'em. Let me know any good info. if you have it.
Thanks, RJ
P.S. Just got to another school I go to and now my car won't idle.. Before I tune, will a mising link fix that? I also need FMU help.. thanks.

the oem head gasket and head bolts are the least of your worries. they are not a weak component of the b series motors. no need to replace them.
what is the car currently tuned on?
we typically push a stock b16 to 300-325whp reliably. get the car tuned proffesionally on the dyno by a reliable tuner in your area.
you dont need a missing link or fmu, i hope you already have larger injectors and a fuel pump?

True. I aleady know that haha. I just threw it up there because my friend wanted to trade me for my JRSC. I said sure. I put a missing link on yesterday to hold up for the tune I'm getting today. Hitting up Dyno Inc. to get tuned on crome. Oh, and yes I have 450cc injectors and a Walbro255 fuel pump. I hope it holds for a little while because there's not much I can afford. I have to help pops pay house bills because he's literally going broke. But, thanks for the help for now. Hope for the best!
