Default SAFC Math....

I am running 440 dsm's with an SAFC. Stock integra injectors are 240cc so if I set my SAFC to -45% then my 440cc's will be at 240cc???? Is this how the math works? I don't have my turbo installed yet and I want to find the best tuning for right now.

if your turbo, try using -40% so it runs more rich.

plus dsm's are 450, and to get them to 240, u'd need -46.6

That would be correct except for this. Larger injectors take longer to open. I imagine that's because of the extra mass of the moving parts. Anyway, since they take longer to open, for short pulsewidths, they don't deliver as much fuel as you would expect based on injector size alone. That's why at idle you will probably need to add more fuel back to smooth it out.

Just wanted to let you know that the DSM injectors you are using are low impedance which require a low impedance injector resistor box. Late model honda and acura's use high impedance injectors, so you will have to use a resistor box from an early model honda to keep from burning your ecu. As far as your question about injector size, we use a 440cc injector on our stage III turbo kits for GSR's. We make 350hp to the wheels @ 14psi with a stock ecu and an AFC. 440cc injectors are rated at approximately 325hp to wheels without an FMU at about 85% duty cycle. So, considering that you're running it with an fmu, you will have no problem. Hope that helps.

It doesnt work like that.
The percentage is the percentage of map sensor voltage.

so what is the formula to find out the % of / from stock on bigger injectors when controlling fuel with the SAFC??
