1 or 2g turbo Eclipse injectors are what you should be looking for. I believe you'll need the DSM injector clips too.

you probably know this already but remember not all dsm injectors may suit your need. depending on your honda and year the question is saturated vs. peak and hold?

yeah, im planning on getting hondata w/ these. as for the peak & hold VS saturated, i never understood those. i have a 99 gsr.

check out http://www.homemadeturbo.com
Look in the FAQ and it tells ya which ones fit the hondas and which dont.

Re: what do i need to run dsm injectors? (inspyral)
i thought the resistor box was just supposed to "regulate" the injectors because larger injectors have lower impedence than the oem honda ones. so saturated or peak, i'll be OK w/ both as long as the resistor box is there, correct?

why dont you help yourself out and tell everyone
1. what car u have and year.. and what OBD ECU u are using..
that will make your life easier
if not do a search, this topic has been beaten to death

Re: what do i need to run dsm injectors? (Giuseppe)
i mentioned already that my car was a 99 gsr. and i did do a search. i hadnt found a thread that really answers my question 100%. everyone says i need a resistor box, and thats it. i was just wondering what else i may need.

Re: what do i need to run dsm injectors? (ceemarun)
i run 450cc DSM injectors in my 93 civic hatch, all which was needed is a resistor box off an older honda (ie 88-91 crx si) OR 10watt 10ohm resistors (you need 4 total one on each injector..you can get them at radio shack for about $1 each). TO make them plug into the honda harness u can..
modify the injector to plug into the stock honda harness (this is what i did)
OR
cut off the stock injector clips and use DSM clips
as for getting them to fit in the intake manifold, i just did the following...
1. push really hard
2. tighten the fuelrail down ontop of them tight
works fine..

Re: what do i need to run dsm injectors? (liam821)
so for me to install it, all i pretty much need is the resistor box (i dont think im capable of doing the radio shack resistors) and i DONT NEED THE DSM CLIPS. when you said to make them plug into the honda harness, and you gave those 2 instructions, thats if i use the radio shack resistors, right?

Also, to anyone that knows an answer to this....for the radio shack resistors, do you just solder one resistor to one of the two wires for each clip?

Re: what do i need to run dsm injectors? (FBP Si 2000)
just go to the junkk yard and get the clips of a early modle civic, accord, crx. like the 80's work fine

Re: what do i need to run dsm injectors? (FBP Si 2000)
I have DSM 450cc injectors off of a 90' Eclipse turbo. I had them cleaned by RC Engineering and bought new clips from RC as the stock GSR clips will NOT fit. I also bought a resistor box from an early model Honda. I wired up the resistor box to the injectors. You do need something to control the injectors. Your car's ECU can not control 450cc. The resistor box does not control the injectors themselves.
On my 99' GSR they work great with Hondata.

If you dont want to modify the injector with a dremel, you can get DSM clips (or RC clips) and cut off the honda clip and wire on the dsm clip on. This would work just fine. I personally didnt want to cut up my engine wiring harness so i moded the injectors.
You do need the DSM clips I believe...even though you aren't doing the radio shack resistors. The stock clips won't plug into the DSM injectors because they are obd II...you would need odb I clips or DSM clips. Correct me if I am wrong anyone.

To use a honda resistor box is every similar. The resistor box has 5 wires coming out of it. One is a ground lead, and the others goto the injectors. To wire it up...do the following.
1. cut all the yellow/black wires off each injector and route them into the injector box. (doesnt matter what order)
2. Wire the lead on the resistor box into ONE of the yellow/black wires which used to goto your injectors. (doesnt matter which one)
You dont have to touch the lead injector wires (the red, blue, yellow, and brown wires).
Here is a picture which i just made...sorry im not an artist. I didnt draw the lead POWER side of the injector as you dont need to touch it (ie no cut).
hope it helps...

Re: what do i need to run dsm injectors? (AbaZ)
Here's a more detailed diagram that I used on my 2000 Civic Si when I installed the DSM 450's.
The injector power wire is red/black on some older cars, but my car was yellow/black, so I used those colors in this diagram.

Re: what do i need to run dsm injectors? (liam821)
Ok, well...I just looked at the resistor pack I bought off someone and it has four black wires. I believe the black wires go to the injectors yellow/black wires. There is also the red wire, but the person had connected four other red wires to it so it would be four red wires also...so, for that...do I just connect each red wire to the yellow/black wire from the Honda harness? Sorry if it's confusing...TIA

my question is, why would anyone pay up to 75 bones for a resistor box when with the same amount of time and only 5 bones you could do the radio shack resistor deal??????
