Default safc hack

how am i able to run 15 psi on a ls safc hack and not throw a code? also lately my car seems to be breaking up when i accelerate from about 3k to 5k then it is gone, it seems like it is misfiring or something, i have safc hack, 255 lph pump, 440cc injectors. this is screwy.....my safc says i am boosting at 10.5psi/.74kg...but my boost guage says 15psi, the dyno also said 15psi????

Because the word on the street is the Honda MAP is only able to handle 10-11 PSI before the element is destroyed. They say the AFC deal is only good to about 10 PSI.

because your not running 15psi, your autometer gauge is reading a couple psi high (i'm making an educated guess that its autometer).
Your only running 10.5psi of boost. And, i wouldnt run run much more than that due to the limitations of the stock map sensor. Here is a simple way to figure out your actual boost reading.
Take the reading from the vafc in kg/cm2 (in your case .74)
Divide that by .070307
presto! actual boost level.

ie: vafc reading / .070307 = boost level in psi

I personally do not even have a boost gauge. I just leave the vafc in analog readout mode displaying pressure, and usually rpms.

I'm running the SAFC hack on my GSR with JRSC, according to the SAFC I'm only hitting 2.8 PSI (.2 kg/cm^2) but my autometer boost gage is reading just over 6 psi. I'm only running the stock pulleys which should put me at 6 psi, so I'm not sure what the story is with the SAFC boost reading, anyone have any ideas?

switch out your map with a known good one, and check to see what the afc reads then. mplex could be right, bad map.
