safc 2 settings for turbo setup
does anybody know how to tune the safc2 for forced induction? Its so different comparend to the first safc's...we just turbo'ed a k24 accord and are having trouble with the settings...for the safc2 there's like hi and lo settings, ne, dec, etc. does anyone know what to set it at? i know for the normal safc we would set the wide and narrow hi and lo at -40...help please
turns out hi and lo settings for safc2, we had to start out at like -15 for low rpms and as it reached higher rpms we had to increase it to positive range...so weird... but we got it to boost a little...so once we get the wideband we'll do better tuning...any rsx's out there want to share their turbo safc2 settings with us.
You get this sorted? its strange you are having to go + with injectors that are half as big again as stock. If it was running +15% you should not be able to get any boost before you get the CEL on. how are you tuning to get these settings?
I used an SAFC2 on my boosted accord for a while w/ DSM 450's. It was set up just like the AFC1 (throttle up, pressure, 6 in 6 out) and -40 across the board for both high and low throttle. Crossover points set to 98/99. No problems, ran just like a regular AFC with just 4 extra RPM points.
