ok sorry for the numerious fuel question posts.. but i found some rx7 fuel injectors on ebay 460cc to be exact and i was gonna do the dsm but these rx7's are only like $40.. the thing is i have a 1990 integra (peak and hold) i hear the rx7's are saturated but not for sure.. does anyone know? or does anyone know how to get them to work if they will. thanks

all i can say that im currently running series 5 (13B REW) injectors 550cc's , i dunno whether peak&hold or saturated ( whats the difference between them anyway ?? )
controlled by standalone Link computer , they work pretty good

 

you better make sure you know cause you might need a resistor box or your gonna fry your injector drivers. unless the link has one???

 

If you have the part numbers I can let you know if they are low or high impedance. I have sets of high and low 460s and high and low 550s so I think I have them all. I'll figure it out for you later when I get a chance.

 

Get a multimeter and test the resistance across the terminals of the injector. 2-5 ohms is peak and hold and 12-15 ohms is saturated.

Also here are some facts about RX-7 injectors through-out the years you may like to know.

84-85 GSL-SE's had (2) 680cc injectors(low-imp), these are kinda hard to find. And you have to find 2 cars since the 1st gen 13b engine only used 2 injectors as opposed to the later model using 4.

86-87.5 N/A RX-7's use 460cc(low-imp) injectors
86-87.5 Turbo Rx-7's use 550cc(low-imp) injectors

88-92 N/A's are 460cc(high-imp)
88-92 Turbo II are 550cc(high-imp)

All 93+ use side feed injectors that aren't compatible with Honda rails. However the primary injectors are 460cc-ish and the secondary injectors are 850's I think...

RX-7 injectors are roughly the same dimensions as DSM injectors, the pintle are a tad bit longer and will stick out farther inside the intake mani. They will plug into your wiring harness with no porblems.

umm no. The 12A was a carburated engine buddy. Then engine you're thinking of is the 84-85 13B, it had 680cc injectors.......like I said earlier.
