Re: (Tinker219)
that is sad....I don't understand why people have to be like that
if you can make a mock up out of carboard I might be able to get my Uncle Paul to make one for me (he is a master machinest and has his own shop and is a shop foreman)

Re: (Sam1am26)
I PM'd him.
Over lunch, got the shortblock/trans bolted up along with axles, suspension. Tonight Ill afix the tie-rod ends and bolt the head on. Thats it for major work, now its just piecing it all together:
Wiring;
Throttle;
clutch;
rest of coolant lines;
build a dash.
Gotta save up for a fuel system, its tight $-wise right now, didnt sell too many manifolds in July.

Re: (Split Image Prez)
Im holding out for more "complete" pictures
Went to bolt the head onto the installed short block/tranny, and they sent me an F series head gasket...*******. So Im waiting for that.
Oh ya, I got the tie rod ends installed, so no more 4ws. I think I might take pictures of this, its cool

Re: (mooseknuckle)
Got the headgasket in late Friday night, tossed it all together. DAMN those cam gears are hard to read when setting the timing!
Ran the throttle cable, then realized I forgot about the damn adjuster. So I have to cut it all back apart and start over(pictures soon, when done), so I have the ability to adjust throttle cable tension.

Thanks Craig! I forgot to mention that this punk did my clutch and shifter cable brackets while I worked on Friday. Some Vacation eh?
You shoulda heard my dad and Craigs conversation...
dad: "Your from OH right?"
Craig: "Ya."
dad: "Hows it going?"
Craig: "Good, can I have a beer?" or something like that. My dad thought it was some funny ****(and he gave up the beers).
