Default running Zero lbs of boost cause engine problems?

ok hears my problem would running a stock ECU and fuel system on a turbo kit with the wastage held open. (internal wastegate aculater removed). would this cause any engine damage? im wandering because i need an eprom programer, and im going on vacation on monday, and i need my car. ill have the kit finished up but i won't have any upgraded fuel. can i drive the car on 0 boost or can i cause damage?

thanks

I'm not certain but I would think it would jsut choke the intake more then the exhaust already is. But might work fine

just leave all your pipes hooked up and just hold the wastegate open, cus if you dont hold the gate open and unhook the pipes you could over spin the turbo and do damage to it

you'll be fine..... my friend has a turbo hatch, jus to create a lil leak in it he only used 2 bolts to hold the turbo to the manifold thus creating exhaust leak b4 the turbo creating zero boost. he ran like this for like a year jus cuz he liked the sound of the turbo spooling out the down pipe. take off that accuater leave all ur piping and listen to it you'll be in love and it'll work fine.
